Spring Break

Ah, spring break is always nice. Gives me time to rest and gather my wits for the rest of the semester : ) I'm very excited right now, because I might be going to Japan in the summer for a language program. If I get accepted it will open a lot of doors for me! Anyway, right now I'm just relaxing and working on some homework for next week. There have been a lot of changes recently. A lot of my friends have started dating and I only have one more year before I officially graduate. It's exciting, but it's a little scary too. I'm just gonna have to do the best I can and go from there <3

Forever and a Day

Wow, it's been an eternity OxO I've just finished another semester of school. Can't say it was the best ever, but it could have been worse. Just so much to think about and to get done. I'm happy to say I'm on break for a month =u= I don't know how much longer I'd have lasted.

Happy Birthday Mom

Today is my mother's birthday (42 and going strong!). She refers to it as her 'birthday weekend', as one day alone wouldn't be enough. I agree, one day isn't enough to celebrate her life. Every day should be a celebration. Another day to talk, to laugh, maybe even cry. There are good times, bad times, and all the others in between. Even though I and her don't always see eye to eye, I still love her more than I could ever express. She's been a huge support to me throughout my life, and I hope that one day I'll have half the integrity and spiritual strength she does. So, here's to you mom, for 42 and beyond.
